Neptune, Terepia Enter Functional Food Market
Neptune Technologies & Bioressources Inc., Laval, Quebec, in alliance with Terepia International Inc. has entered the functional food industry with three new confectionary products. Terepia International Inc. specializes in food formulations that enabled Neptune to accomplish a full bloom of fruit flavors. These confectionaries are produced with three different fresh fruits—pomegranate, passion fruit and mango. A tablespoonful contains a 300 mg dose of Neptune Krill Oil “NKO” with natural fruits and no added preservatives, sugar or artificial flavors. Ac­cording to Neptune, NKO is clinically proven to enhance cognitive function and reduce inflammation.
